Not sure what to say?

I was always my grandfather's kid and I know he'd be very proud of the man I've become. I just wish I could leave him flowers or at least get a piece of him to take with me. I will always love and remember you.

Darla and Family,

We were saddened to hear about Ed. Our memories of all the fun times we had together in Shope Gardens will remain in our Hearts forever. God be with you and your family and fill you with his Peace.

Love and Prayers,
Patsy and Bob Krasevic and Family

May you walk peacefully into the arms of the Lord ~

Many weekends of my childhood were spent at the Mentzer household. Ed and Darla were like second parents to me growing up, and their kindness and generosity has never been forgotten. I fondly remember super bowl parties, fishing at Poe Valley, swimming in the pool, and many other great experiences that were provided by Ed and his family. I want to extend my deepest condolences to Darla, Eddie, Tara, and the entire Mentzer family for your loss. Rest In Peace Ed, you will be greatly missed.

Eddie and family...We are so very sorry for the loss of your dad, was quite a shock. He was always so kind to us and helpful. He loved to joke around! We had so much fun at the Super Bowl parties. I know you will miss him so much. God Bless you all and cherish your memories...pray they give you some peace. You know where we are if you need anything, even just to talk. Take care!

Wish we could have had him in the CPC choir longer, he seemed like a super nice guy!

There was no better friend than Ed. I lived a troubled life back then, but when I started to go to Calvary Presbyterian Church on Sycamore street, we quickly became best friends.
I cannot count the times when he consoled me or gave me advice, or simply showed me how good a family life should be. I used him as an example often and when I was married he stood up for me at my wedding. I have never achieved the wholesomeness or strength of faith Ed had, but his example of how to treat...

Ed was always there to help when you needed him no matter what. we will keep him and family in our prayers. cousin Phil Mentzer

I have a lot of memories growing up with Ed on South Cameron St. He was a great guy.Condolences to his family.
