I was saddened to read in the MBTA newsletter that Eddie had died. We worked together in our early careers in bus operations. He was a great guy and friend. We have lost a wonderful man while Heaven has gained a terrific soul with a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family. Fred Goodine Virginia

Ed was a remarkable person. Friendly, kind, generous conversationalist, happy diplomatic, in love with Cindy. Proud of their children and his work neighbors and Town. Unexpectedly running into him a few times over the years put a smile on my face. He always had a joke or just a good word or, share something profound. To Cindy and the Mills family, I am sorry for your loss. The world needs more Men, Husband's, Parent's, Friend's like Ed. It was A Blessing and honor to know him.
