Not sure what to say?

I am so saddened to hear of EJ's passing. We dated in the 80's -- my very first "love". I'll never forget the day he shaved his beard when we attended Michael's wedding. I didn't even recognize him! I am so thankful for the time we had together - I hope he has found peace.

My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

May your brother's light continue to shine brightly as you continue on.

Tom and Pat- Our family and employees are saddened to hear of your loss. Ed was taken far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Moore family, and hope you are strengthened by them. Hydrant Repair Parts, Inc.

I graduated a year ahead of EJ (class of '73). My brother John was in EJ's class of '74. He always came to our parties in Cromwell Hills, and I especially enjoyed and appreciated EJ's sense of humor. If someone has a photo of him from the 1970s or 1980s, please send it to me and I'll put it up on the Cromwell Crew web site, which is www.cromwellcrew.com.

I am shocked and saddened on hearing the news of EJ's passing. Although I haven't seen EJ in some years, I always remembered his smile, warmth, and sense of humor. EJ always welcomed friends to his home, and often times we were regaled with stories of his many adventures. My sincerest and deepest condolences to both the Moore and Doyle families on your loss. EJ will be sorely missed.

To the Moore Family,

My deepest sympathy to the Moore family. I to went to high school with EJ and first met him thru Pete Palestri. At first EJ was stand offish as he could be, but over the years he warmed up to me and we became good friends. Eddie was a character but he also was a great good person with a big heart. Good bye my friend.

Ed was a good guy and good neighbor. In the six years that we've lived here, he would always stop his truck to say hello and ask about our family. He dressed up for halloween and made it more fun for the kids. Our Condolences. -Greg & Deanna Gervasio

It was with great sadness that I heard the news about EJ. He was my classmate at Assumption School in Morristown, and my first "crush" in 6th grade. It's hard to believe that was over 30 years ago, as it seems like only yesterday that he was winning over the nuns and female lay teachers at school with his smile and inimitable sense of humor. Here's to the Irishman who won my heart at the tender age of 12. "Go n-eírí an bóthar leat", my old childhood friend.
