Words fail me. I met Mr Moriarty in 1972 as a student in his geometry class. What he saw in me, a long-haired, poor Holyoke kid, I'll never know, but he became a second father to me. Such a kind, warm-hearted, wise, and gentle man, not to mention a great role model, who was one of the top three influences in my life and whose values and sense of humor helped make me the man I am today. Eddie was incredibly sincere when he would ask "how's it going" and when asking about the family. God bless him, I can only imagine he and Lorraine and Bob Dion looking down with laughter! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bev, Mike, Tommy, Ann.

My favorite teacher! So sad to hear of his passing. I have a degree in Mathematics thanks to his encouragement. May he rest in peace. My sympathies to his family and all who knew him.
