Edward McDonald Mouser

Lt. Edward McDonald Mouser, 57, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Sunday, November 14, 2004 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Lt. Mouser was born on July 16, 1947, in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of the late Willard Gordon and Katherine Dotson Roberts Mouser. He retired from the Winchester Police Department in 1999 having served for thirty years and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. He attended Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #12, Winchester Moose Lodge #1283 and V.F.W. Post 2123 of Winchester. He was a veteran of the United State Navy having served in Vietnam.

Surviving is one son, Christopher Mouser of Martinsburg, West Virginia, three grandchildren, and a sister, Betty James of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home – Amherst Chapel, with David Owings and Lt. William Griffith officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home – Amherst Chapel on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
