Edward J. Murawski

87, of Lemont, passed away, April 16, 2009.

He was a member of Carpenter's Local #1889, former Volunteer Firefighter for the Village of Lemont, Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WW II. Edward loved being a "Winter Texan" and he had many talents.

Survived by his wife, Marie T. nee Mikula, Murawski; one son, Ed (Kathy) Murawski; one daughter, Carolyn Tasharski; one grandson, Craig (Donna) Tasharski; three great-grandsons, Jesse, Kyle and Ryan; a sister, Anne Hoth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Igancy and Konstaneja Murawski; four sisters, Connie, Lottie, Fran and Lil; and two brothers, John and Joe.

Visitation Monday, 3 - 9 p.m. at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 10 a.m. to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Lemont, for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
