My condolences to the entire Murtagh family. Although I have not seen Eddie in many years I will always cherish the time we shared together back in the 1970/1980 timeframe. Ed coached several adult hockey teams (The Dutch Mill, The Yellow Tiger, Jack Ryan’s) and I was fortunate to be on most of those teams. Ed was very passionate about his hockey and ran those teams as if they were professional organizations. He was always “scouting” for quality players but first made certain they’d fit in...

My heart goes out to the entire Murtagh clan. I have felt for over 30 years That I was a part of this fabulous family, unfortunately I had not seen Eddie for several years but he was always in my heart. We had a lot of good time. He told me many times he thought of me as a second daughter and I thought of him as my 2nd father. Eddie you will be missed by everyone who's life you touched!

Our condolences to your family. I am a first cousin of Stape's. his father and my father (Robert) were brothers. I live in FL now and heard about his passing from my brother (robert Murtagh, Jr). It's been a very long time since we've seen any of the Murtagh family except for Mary Ann (Aunt Frances daughter, also a Murtagh).
