Dear Taffy, I was both very saddened and surprised to read of Eddie's untimely death, as reported in O'Connell's newsletter. And then I saw that Frank had died right before him. My heart goes out to you. I can't even begin to imagine your grief. Eddie was the first boy who ever kissed me, on the play ground at St. James in 1st grade, and he reminded me of that at our 25th O'Connell reunion! Please know that you both will be in my prayers.

I just heard of Eddie's passing. I offer my condolences to the family. Eddie & I rode the same school bus to O'Connell HS and went on to influence that school for the next 4 years. We met again last October at our 40th reunion. It was meant to be and it was great! Eddie, I salute you and I will miss you.

Taffy,
It is with great sadness that Jerry and I learn of Eddie's passing. He was such a sweetheart to all the ladies at O'Connell. We were last with him at his and mine 40th HS reunion Nov. 06 where he brought his lovely daughter. I will cherish our friendship and good memories. Eddie was always personable and a fun person to be around. He made every occasion a good time. It is with a heavy heart and sadness that his life ended so shortly. But be assured that he will be missed, but...

Taffy,
To lose both brothers in such a short span is unfathomable. My brother Fred had a long chat with Ed last year at the O'Connell reunion and was stunned to hear. My thoughts & prayers are with you at such a difficult time. Fran Proulx

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Ed will be missed. I always enjoyed talking and laughing and fussing with him. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

The Niverts and the Carters were close neighbors on Marshall Street in Falls Church; the kids grew up playing together. How very sad that Eddie and Frank are so suddenly gone. They will live in my memories.
