Edward J. Nugent

I, like many others, have fond memories of Mr. Nugent. He was my 6th grade teacher at Schaeffer Elementary. It was one of his first years teaching. I especially enjoyed that year and appreciated how calm, kind, and fun he was as a teacher. He was the only teacher who ever came outside at recess and played kickball with us. He has truly made a difference in many lives. My deepest sympathy to his family. May you find comfort in you memories and the thought and prayers of others.

I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Nugent while I was a student at Camp Hill High School. One of my favorite teachers.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Nugent, a truly dedicated and respected educator and coach. Though I did not have the opportunity to have him as a teacher, I have many fond memories of him as a basketball coach. May his family receive God's grace and comfort knowing that he touched so many young lives in such a positive way. He will live forever in the memories of those who were fortunate to know him.

So sorry to hear this. Mr. Nugent was a good friend and fellow teacher to my dad, Tom Gray. I have many memories of Mr Nugent through the years. He knew all 3 of us kids for all of our lives, always atlked to us, always was nice and a great guy.

Ed Nugent was someone I highly respected as a teacher but especially as a basketball coach. He was a great leader on the court and a gentleman in public. Ed Nugent will be missed.

He was a great teacher and coach and one of the men who inspired me to become a teacher and coach as well. He touch many lives in a positive and constructive manner and will be remembered fondly for what me gave to many!!!

Mr. Nugent was such an enjoyable, fun man. Always something funny to say and never seemed too serious. He had a good time in life and had much influence on many me included. It says a lot about a teacher/coach when he is thought of so highly so many years later. Mr. Nugent was well respected at CHHS so much so that he had a yearbook dedicated to him. Quite an honor.
