Dear Dottie, Heather, Colleen, Eddie and Sean:

Your husband and dad was a great man and will be sorely missed by all of those who knew him. As the days go by, I still can't believe it myself that he is gone. Ed and I and Teddy and Dottie played many a game of pinochle and always had a lot of laughs. You will be in our prayers.

His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career.
