Not sure what to say?

Doctor O'Reilly's replacement in his teeny dentistry office on Alta mesa in SSF just told me of his passing.. I have not seen him since he retired but thought of him often with fondness. He was gentle and patient and hummed while he worked on my teeth. I went to him from childhood until adult hood and used to go to sleep when he cleaned my teeth. Those days have passed unfortunately. Thanks for being who you were.

O'Reillys, Varons and Ryans-
I am teary writing this, looking at Dr. O's fantastic picture - I already miss him so much.
I haven't seen him in a few years but can hear his cheery voice saying Hi Andy!' clear as day. (He was only 1 of 2 people allowed to call me Andy in my life, I loved it!)
I will always hold him close in my heart. He was a great dentist - I still think of the pearls' he referred to my teeth as, and have shared that reference with children in my life, always...

Dear Sara and family
Ed And I are so very sorry to learn of Ed's passing.
We have fond memories of our days at Creighton.
I sincerely wish you and your family the best in
The days to come

Men like Ed don't pass your way everyday. His humor, love of people, brightly lit personality, his whole persona: that loss creates a void in my life. He mentions the Russian River vacations: Rio Nido and Healdsburg, bring up memories that are cherished.

"Take the floor'? Our recollection of Mr. O'Reilly is that he liked to "Take the Stage"! Almost 30 years ago (5/26/90) he hopped on the stage at our wedding reception, gave the band a few instructions, and belted out a perfect song! It was a wonderful gift.

Dear Ed's Family,
I am sorry to hear about your loss.

I was in Ed's 1952 class at St. Bendan's in SF. Today I have been remembering a wonderful class reunion he had at his home down the Peninsula.

God bless his soul. May he rest in peace.

Dear O'Reilly Family,
My prayers are with each of you. May your precious memories of your brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, brighten each day to come.
Sincerely,

Ed was a classmate at SI'56 and since I have lived in Connecticut for many years he made me feel close to SF through many emails with jokes and wonderful thoughts. I will miss him dearly. Ed was a true friend.

We love you dad. You will always be with us. We will miss you everyday.

Love,
Sol, Christine, Alexandra, Sarah and Lilly
