I learned of Ed's passing just yesterday from a former Mifflin Firefighter. I was a Mifflin Twp. Police Officer when I met Ed. I remember his dedication to and passion for the fire service. Ed was a positive person with an infectious smile. I always respected him and I will always remember Ed, not only as a Mifflin Firefigher/Paramedic, but as a kind soul and a friend. Rest in peace, Ed. Thank you for being there when we needed you.

Very sorry to hear about the loss. I work with the maintenance team where Ed lived. He was a great guy and always had a smile on his face.I always enjoyed doing work for him.

To Ed's dear family,
I'm so sorry to read about Eddie's passing. My friends and I from Roush Hardware feel the loss, even after all these years. Our memories of Ed are of love and fun from the depths of our hearts. It was a very special time and he was a very special guy. God Bless your family and Rest in Peace Eddie Ongaro.

Almeda, we are so very very sorry for your
loss. We always enjoyed our conversations with Ed & serving him springrolls & sesame chicken with lots of sweet & sour sauce. We will never forget our favorite firefighter.
