Edward was born on April 4, 1933 and passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Edward was a resident of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. He attended Holy Cross grade school and was a 1951 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. He was employed as a police office for Mount Carmel Borough and served in the US Navy for four years. FUNERAL NOTICE Edward Joseph "Cookie" Ososkie, 85, of 520 West Seventh Street, Mount Carmel - Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 11:00 am in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel with Reverend Joan Brown, officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:00 until the time of service in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program - F, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.

Eddie , Patty and Family sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad.From an early age on he was always ready to greet me with a how is it going Cuz and a big smile and a wink.On the street or in the Hosie he was always fun and had a story to tell. His personalty and way made Mt Carmel a better place with him in uniform or around town. he had a full life God Bless him He is home.

So Sorry for your loss I remember Cookie as a cop when I was a child and even when I was an adult. He was a very kind and generous man My prayers are with you and your family at this time.
