Not sure what to say?

I only just learned of Eddies passing. I am truly shocked and so very saddened. Eddie and I were close friends in Jr high and highschool together. we were in touch on and odd through the years. I was just thinking about him and came across the news of his padding. My thoughts and prayers are with the Papalia family. Eddie was such a great, kind and funny person... we had so many great times.. memories I'll cherish forever. You will be missed 'Eduardo' -- 'Liman'

I've just learned of Eddie's untimely passing. I did not know him very well, but he and I went running through the Duke Forest many afternoons while in grad school, 2005-2006. May unending light shine on him and may his family and friends be blessed.

I would like to send my condolences to the Papalia family. Robert Arce

Eddie was one of my best friends. He was an incredible person, a gifted athlete and an all around wonderful human being.

He will be missed.

Eddie was one of the truly nicest, funniest, and genuine people out there. Incredibly smart and a ferocious competitor on the track, but so kind and gentle in every other aspect of life.

We are all better from having had a chance to know him.

Eddie was the kindest person I've known. He will be missed.

First run I ever went on at Haverford was with Eddie. What a privilege it was to share three years with him.

So sad. Eddie was a fine young man, and as Andrew said, incredibly nice and genuine.

Condolences to your family, Eddie, we're all thinking of you.

I would like to send my condolences to the Papalia family. I ran with Eddie at Haverford. He was an incredible teammate and a great friend.
