I only knew Ed through updates from his daughter-in-law Sham and son, Crady. I so enjoyed hearing updates from Sham about her father-in-law. I know he will be sorely missed. What an impressive life and man. Love always. Thanks for sharing him with me.

Dear Crady & Sham,
Uncle Ed was such an amazing person - extremely warm and kind. And he loved Aunt Ginny so much. He is an inspiration to how we ought to treat and love our spouses. Will miss him and those bear hugs so much. Was so hoping the kids could meet him last summer, which did not materialise for obvious reasons. Such a shame. Stay strong and comforted knowing that he is with Aunt Ginny. Included a photo with them probably in 2004. What a lovely couple! Love you both.

Our family spent pretty much every holiday and birthday with Uncle Ed and Aunt Ginny. We rented twin camping trailers and all went to Yellowstone together. Every summer we all rented a house in Cannon Beach Oregon for a week and enjoyed the beach. Uncle Ed kept our cars running. He was an amazing mechanic. He took us down under Snoqualmie Falls to see the generator. My favorite memory is when he picked me up after church one Sunday and we climbed to the top of Mount Si in North Bend...

I knew Mr. Pawlak through his son Dan with whom we were in business selling the product he invented and manufactured in Issaquah. He was a calm, soft spoken man who had a deep faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I grew into faith with the family after Dan was killed in an explosion and after going to 4 funerals that were life celebrations, including for certain Dans, the way the family were comforted by the Lord affected me and I began investigating how they were so certain;...

Grandpa was always ready to fix anything for anyone, and he could really fix ANYTHING. He was continually praying for every member of his family and reminded them of it every time he spoke with them. He had a huge heart and great faith. He missed his wife of 70 years deeply, and while he was strong and healthy, stubborn enough to patch his own roof well into his late 90’s, he really wanted to be in heaven with his wife and his son, my father, Dan. He read his Bible daily. Pretty much every...

I am a checker at Safeway and was fortunate to know Mr. Pawlak. He was a very caring and compassionate man. I was one of the lucky ones to have had have known him. I waited on him just one day before his 98th birthday and as I watched him walk out the door I thought to myself how he had made my life better just knowing him a little bit. He will truly be missed.
