Ed also taught me to play guitar at Dipipos. I took lessons from him for about 5 years. I formed a band called the Rocking Teens in Cranston. Saw him play with my dad one night at Else's Lodge. What a wonderful man. I now teach school and guitar.

I'm saddened to hear of Eddie's passing. He taught me to play guitar from 1965 to 1967. I still play daily.
I became an early childhood teacher, and I use the guitar in the classroom, singing with the kids and teaching them songs. I also let them strum my guitar as I form the chords. A number of my kids have started playing guitar, and their parents tell me it was because of this introduction.

I sorry to hear of Ed passing. I met Ed 31 years ago, when I wanted to learn how to play the guitar. He was teaching at Di Pippo Music on the hill. I was a student of Ed's for about five or six year, until he move to Cranston. In that time Ed was a real good teacher, but more, he was a friend. He taught me the the wonders that is playing the guitar, and the beauty that is music.
