My father was a very complicated man in some ways, but he was very simple in every way that counted. What you saw with him is what you got. He was honest, he had integrity, and he always did the right thing. I butted heads with him often growing up, but never really understood him until I joined the Army. Our Opa was strong in mind and body, a modern stoic. Always a man that myself and brothers will look up to. He taught me to always be resilient and patient. The value in a good book. And love for Harry Potter. He also liked Dr. Strange before he was cool.. so, lol. Also his love for classic rock rubbed off on Tristan and well as stretching out your neck muscles. Ultimately, life separated us by space and now in death. My 5 brothers and I love and will forever miss our Opa. Ethan
