Thank you every one for the memories you shared about Eddy we will all miss him very much. The Piaskowski Family.

Just found out about Eddie's passing. Such a great guy an friend. When you met him you felt like had known him for ever. RIP Eddie and I offer my condolences to his family. He was a great person.

I remembered a few more things since my previous comment.

When we played run-across during recess, it was actually called "21 run-across." One of us would be chosen to be "it," and that would be the person who tries to catch the others as they run across. Once a person running across is tapped, then he would be "out," until all are out and we start over.

There would be several running across at the same time, so it's like the old rule that "you don't have to out-run the bear,...

I like to get things correct. I'm not sure if it's "Eddy" or "Eddie." In any case, I knew him at St. Mary's. This would have been in the 4th or 5th grade, give or take a year.

Unfortunately, I don't have class pictures of those years. But I do have a small, grainy picture of him from the 2nd grade First Communion picture, which combined more than one classroom.
