Edward J. Primka, Jr. Former Marine, Edison High School soccer coach was twice honored as NJSCA "Coach of the Year"; helped coach USA Olympic team Edward J. Primka, Jr., 84 passed away July 17th after battling Alzheimers. He was the son of the late Edward Sr and Ruth Richmond of Island Heights....
Read MoreMy condolences to the Primka Family. I also played soccer from 1961 - 1965 for Coach Primka. I did not know that the coach served in the marines, but that explained his coaching during the matches. I can still hear him from the other side of the field. Playing for him was the most memorable event during my High School years.

Played soccer for Coach Primka for four years in high school, worked for him as a lifeguard during summers and learned many life lessons from him growing up. Thanks for the education and the memories.

My condolences to the family. I first met Coach when I was in 2nd grade, all the way thru HS. Will never forget him, he was a great coach and teacher.
