Not sure what to say?

Spike I just heard of your passing today.. I wish I had known sooner. We were friends for over 50 years and I feel like I had lost a brother. I remember when we first met at Midway Jr High, became friends went to Fair Park HS,we served 25 years together with The Shreveport Police Dept and then at the Federal courthouse . I will miss you my friend and will see you someday

Our condolences to the family.

My Prayers go out to the family. It was an Honor to serve alongside Spike at the Shreveport Police Department and especially the Detective Bureau. Many wonderful memories.
Great guy! He will be missed

My prayers go out to his wife and family! He had a good life.

Carol Ann, so sorry to hear of your brothers passing. I will keep your family in prayer. Vicki adams Pendleton

I pray that all the wonderful memories gives the Prokopf family comfort at this time. Spike was a great officer/supervisor at SPD and was well respected by so many that had the honor and privilege of knowing him. Spike and my dad worked together for many years in the streets of Shreveport. Now they are together in the streets of gold.

It was an honor and a privilege to have worked with Spike. When he saw you he always has a big smile and a hearty handshake. He will truly be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family during this time.
With deepest sympathy,

Spike will be missed. I worked around and with him when he was a Court Security Officer for the federal courts. He always took care of the judges and would do what he could for you. Rest In Peace and May God wrap His arms around your family and give them strength and understanding to get through the times ahead.
