I LIVED NEXT DOOR TO EDWARD JAMES'S MOTHER, SIBLINGS, AND GRANDPARENTS. SO IAM AN EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBER. MY SISTER, EARLINE AND I WERE REFLECTING ON EDWARD JAMES AND OUR BROTHER ALAN, AND NEPHEW VONTE. THEY MOVED TO LOS ANGELES IN THE 70'S. THEY ALL WERE ABOUT NINE/TEN YEARS OLD GOOD BUDDIES AND WOULD CALL EVERY DAY AS THOUGH THEY WERE IN THE SAME CITY UNTIL SOME ADULT FINALLY CAUGHT ON TO THE CALLS AND EXPLAINED THAT THESE CALLS WERE LONG DISTANCE AND THEY COST MONEY.
