Visitation for Edward Pulido Sr. "Big Ed" will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Friday morning, May 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Eddie was born October 1, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA and he passed away May 3, 2008 in Bakersfield, CA. He is preceded in death by his grandmother. He is survived by his father, Henry Pulido Sr.; his mother, Adaline Martinez; his wife, Theresa Pulido; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Anthony Gueymock; son, Eddie Pulido Jr.; son, Gilbert Pulido; grandchildren, Allyssa, Breanna, A.J., Andrew, Isaiah and Eli Gueymock; brother, Henry; sisters, Josie and Lucy as well as numerous other family members and friends. Eddie was a good loving husband, father and grandpa. He cherished the time he had with his family. He was a prime example of a man who loved, cared and protected his family. He taught us how to be a family and always stand together. No matter what happened. He enjoyed watching College Basketball March Madness and his favorite team was the Duke Blue Devils. His favorite sport was Baseball. He loved the L.A. Dodgers. His favorite Football team was the Indianapolis Colts. Eddie was a truly loved man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Well May 3rd is here. Its really hard to belive another year has passed. So much has happened since you have left us...Your a greatgrandpa thanks to Allyssa. You would have loved Mariah, she lookes just like Allyssa. You have another great granddaughter arriving in a month on June 12th. Well Dad you said big families are the best right! I miss you so MUCH! I dont think you knew how great of a father you were, I love you daddy....your baby girl.

Daddy May 3rd is coming around once again. There is not a day that I don't have you on my mind. We miss you so much! Daddy I can't even explain the hole you left in my heart. I miss my brother greatly. It's so hard for me to have my other 1/2 gone, what I mean by that is we were one in the same. I know he lived up there in Bakers and I lived in La but we were the same. 'I miss you Brother' I talk to you everyday 'kisses' your sister Lucy...We'll be together again someday X!

Everybody goes through life with alot of acqaintances, but you have very few friends. We have lived next door to each other for 25 years. He was always there to help anytime you needed. He loved to go hunting and fishing with me, He loved to work on cars or anything else. He just wanted to help anyone who asked. I will miss him for the rest of my life.
