Not sure what to say?

Happy Birthday, dear Doctor! Was just thinking of you and how sweet you were to me as a child. You saved me

Dr Rachlin was a neighborhood friend of the family who gave me free on call immediate services in his home office and wonderful wise advice to my parents that eventually lead to my restoration after a tragic event that changed my life. Gid bless Dr Rachlin and his family.

I found this condolences page for Dr. Rachlin and just thought I'd give it a try. It's 2024 so I'm very late with this condolence, but it is heartfelt none the less. I babysat for Kit, Isabel and John for years at their home on Mayfair way. Mrs. Racklin would "hire" me weeks in advance every Friday or Saturday night to stay with her children and Toby that HUGE German Shepherd !!!!! They were a LOVELY family and I enjoyed the money! We would all watch television in the large bedroom at...

I had my experience with Dr. Rachlin when I was 9 yrs old. I had a tumor in my toe and he removed it. He eased my and my parents´ fears. I thought he was the greatest. I remember he told me he wrote an article about me in a medical journal because they had never seen that type of cancer before. He was my hero. Although I had to go to see him over snd over again- he wanted to make sure the tumor didn´t come back- I never tired of going. He was compassionate and caring. I remember him in his...

Approximately 40 yrs. ago, I saw Dr. Rachlin because I had severe back pain. He prescribed for me to do back exercises. And, offered I take a back exercise class at a local high school. The title of the class was, "The Y's Way to a Healthy Back." He was one of the creators of this program. I took the class and also received an audiotape, so I could do the exercises at home on my own. Now, I still do these exercises when needed. He was ahead of his time in his holistic approach to my...

Dear David,
That must be a different Ed Rachlin, though it sounds like your Ed was a wonderful person. They would have enjoyed a good tennis game together!

To the Rachlin family,

If this is the same Ed Rachlin that once owned Hopbrook Farm in Holmdel, NJ then please accept my condolences for your loss more than 4 years ago. As a young 11th and 12th grader, I was one of the hired hands that spent my after school hours and weekends keeping that wonderful estate manicured under the watchful eyes of Mr Willy who was Dr Rachlins groundskeeper. My memories are profoundly positive. I would, every now and then, catch sight of Dr Rachlin...

It is hard to believe that it has been four years since my family said goodbye to my father. He would have played tennis in Central Park on these beautiful summer mornings, and in the afternoons would have walked the city with my Mom. I miss so many things; like the way he would hug me when we said hello - so loving and happy to see me. My knees hurt and I want a consultation with him. I often think of questions I would like to ask him. I expect it will always be this way - these unanswered...
