Some of the best years of Joe's life was the opportunity to reconnect with Ed and become the caring brothers that had always been there but somehow got diverted. I know that Joe looked forward to the times that they could be together and the memories they shared were precious to both of them. My brief encounters with Ed and his family were when we came back to Minneapolis while their parents were still alive and those were not often enough. I am so thankful that the 'reuniting' of cousins...

Ed was a good man. Time and distance may have kept us apart but I'm especially grateful for having had the opportunity to visit him within the last couple of years. No doubt he has already found Joe and they are spending some time catching up. Our love and prayers go out to the family.

Our deepest sympathies to all of Ed's family. He was always a pleasure to talk to and visit with when he came out to visit Joe. We'll all miss him.
