Not sure what to say?

Eddie and I (Hugh) flatted together in Finsbury Park, London N4 in 1963. He was a remarkable friend at the time
and after I moved on he wrote to me and I still have that beautiful written letter which I kept as a very special
momento as I always recalled his literature expression talent so moving. I researched over the years to try and
find his whereabouts and fairly recently found out that He sadly passed away in Sydney and since has been remembered in my thoughts and prayers...

Those were the days my Friend

Eddie, you were a great uncle and you will be missed, but your memory will live on. Your visits to the UK were always a source of excitement and anticipation of the stories you would tell and your trademark wit and humour.

Thank you for all the good memories and happy times.

Ed Raggett

Although Eddie left Ireland over 50 year's ago he never forgot his family and home here in Ireland, he loved Ballycaum the place he was born and reared and he loved Stoney and its people no matter where he was he always wanted to hear the news from home.
One of Eddie's many skills was his ability to write whether it was to the letters page of the Sydney Morning Hearld or lovely tributes to family and friends here in Ireland, Some years ago Eddie wrote about the leaving of Stoney, i would...
