My heart is heavy knowing that our family has lost another great soul. Uncle Ed was probably the quietest of our crazy family yet seemed to have such an impact on us all!! I first met Ed in 1960 when I bowled in the City league for the first time and Ed was a frequent viewer and covered the best bowlers in cny, many of whom bowled in the City league. In the early years Ed would not only write articles about the achievements but also was often able to get pictures and great headlines. He took me under his wing and showed me how to comport myself from answering the phone to taking agate for high school and college games.
