Edward Reese

Dr. Reese was one of my professors at Hyles Anderson college in the late seventies. He was truly one of a kind and perhaps one of the most sincere and least pretentious individuals I ever met. It was many years later that I grew to appreciate his great qualities. Ironically, I would be astonished to know that he would have any memory of me, but his contribution to my life and to that of many others was great. Sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Trust our Savior will be your strength and help in the days and years ahead. Don't know if you remember me, but we went to high school together and worked in Youth for Christ together in Grand Rapids. May God continue to bless and comfort you and your family.

Dr. Reese introduced himself to me at a book table, in a meeting in Chicago, years and years ago. His friendliness and character led to a friendship of many years . He enriched my life and ministry in his work and that friendship, what a testimony for Christ. The hours of history discussions even now run through my mind today!
