Dear Mrs. Regan and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'll always remember how Mr. Regan tried to revive my father the day he died. I also remember when I was little and my dad cut down a pine tree that held a nest of baby birds. I was so upset that the birds would die. Your husband leaned over the fence, took the nest from my dad and said the guys at the firehouse would take care of the birds and make sure that they learned to fly. I believed him. Auntie Margie, I was so very sad to get the news of Uncle Eddie. I wish I was there. He always gave me a good laugh. He sure was one hell of a joker. HE WILL BE MISSED GREATLY. Who will give me a hard time now about staying on the same job for so many years. You, young Ed, Mike, Jimmy, Margarite, and mary are all in my thoughts and prayers. You guys had a greaT DAD. Heck he was a REGAN.
