Read MoreWhen I moved my family to Urbana in 1988 Ed greeted me at the athletic booster meeting and made me feel like I was welcomed and we became good friends. We always had fun at the meetings. Rest in Peace Ed and I hope to see you when my time comes.

Very sorry to read about Ed's death. Have fond memories of playing softball with him, going to OSU football games, visits to Cincy and Gatlinburg, and just being around him and his family. My wife and I are thinking of the Richards family and wish them the best during this difficult time.

was about to call the office to fine out if he was still there. My sister called to let me know of his passing. Would have attended the services but am in Fl. until April. Will miss his smiling face when I went to visit.
