Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Tona, as I share in your loss of Edward. I will always remember Edward as a kind and lovely man. I have been blessed by his thoughfulness. I didn't have a chance to tell you that I visited Edward his last day at UMMC. He recognized me and we talked for several minutes, allowing me the opportunity to say goodbye. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you at this time, or in the future. Warmest regards, Judith

My entire family is saddened by Uncle Eddie's loss. He was such a nice man. He was one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. Sometimes he would call out to see how the family was doing and we'd have long chats about just about anything. My father (Pino) as everyone calls him, not to confuse him with Eddie's late-brother, Dr. Riggio, spoke to uncle Eddie just days before he went into the hospital and he had assured my dad everything would be okay. Sadly, that was the last time they...

Condolences to you and your family,God bless.

I just wanted to send my deepest sympathies to Tona and the rest of Ed's family. I worked with Ed in the Translation Section at Social Security and I truly consider it an honor and privilege to have known him. He was undoubtedly one of the most interesting and intelligent people I have ever met and he made going to work each day just a little more pleasant because of his presence in our office. He was a real friend and helped me many times over with numerous different things and I shall...

Our deepest condolences to you from our family.

My sympathies go out to Tona and Family. I knew Ed only for a few years at Social Security (he tried to teach me Spanish--he was a wonderful teacher, I was just a poor student). But he became a real friend. He just had that way about him. I remember when he retired and at his party he told us all the things he wanted to do. I know he did what he could because he lived life to the fullest and my life will be emptier without Ed in it.

My deepest condolences to you Tona and Philip. My dad and PJ so enjoyed Eddie's visit here and spoke of him often. Please know my prayers are with you during this difficult time, and know the Lord with bring you comfort.

May you only remember the many
pleasant memories, and may God
give all of you peace of mind.
I shall always remember my cousin
Edward as a brillant mind, and his
joy of living. I shall cherish
the time he spent when visiting
Pittsburgh with Salvatore. Angeline

My Cousin Eddie will be missed by the Family. Ed came to Pittsburgh in 2004 when his Cousin Salvatore came from Germany. He was our interputer. A very smart, interesting person. I can remember when Ed was Born. His Mother told my Mother she named him after "the Prince". As a child this impressed me.
