Not sure what to say?

Thank You Uncle Edward "Ed" Roberts for being like a father to me after my father Roosevelt "Bob" Roberts passed away. I Love You. RIP.

To the family of Mr. Edward Roberts: Trust in God, our Creator, for all your strength! Mr. Roberts was on our staff at Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School before retiring. He encouraged us, his co-workers, and it was a joy to work with him. He was missed after his retirement especially because he was so much help in explaining to co-workers information concerning school insurance and retirement matters. Keep the faith.

On behalf of the
Faculty/Staff...

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. I have great memories of Edward. He was a kind an genuine person all the time. He was always helpful in all areas if needed. Edward always had a smile whenever you greeted him. His kindness, loving character and words of encouragement will be missed.

My prayers are with you and your Family

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Psalms 27:14

To Reed and the family be encouraged. I have always had much respect and love for Mr. Roberts and his wife for many years.
Reed, we are here for you my brother!!!

To the family of Ed Roberts,
He will truly be missed. May God see you through this journey. My prayers are with you all. You have my deepest sympathy.

I will remember Ed for his decades-long dedication and commitment to United Teachers of New Orleans (UTNO). He had a gentle manner and never had a bad word about anyone. I believe he tried to live by the lines of the prayer he recited every time he was asked to give an invocation ("... purge from every heart the lurking grudge ..."). Ed left his mark not just on UTNO, but on many of those who worked closely with him.
Rest in peace, my union brother.

Mr. Roberts taught me and some of my siblings at John W. Hoffman Elementary School. He was a tremendous role model. He remained a friend and supporter of my family long after the last of us left Hoffman. He went above and beyond what was expected of a teacher. I have many fond memories of Mr. Roberts but one in particular involves him fitting our entire team into his VW bug to go to a game.
