I was shocked and saddened to read of Ed Ryan's passing. I had known Ed since the 1970s when he was a municipal court judge and was delighted when he was appointed to the Superior Court. As a judge, as a man, as a Christian, they came no better than Ed. Living out of the area and out of touch with most of the people I knew up there, I only recently learned of his passing and was not able to attend the services, or to reach out to him in his final days. May he rest in peace.

Maryann and I are very sad to hear of Eddie's passing. He was a great friend for 50+ years and the experiences and memories will stay with me forever. He earned and deserved the utmost respect in everything he did.
I will remember and cherish his friendship until we meet again.

Dear Dottie and family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Eddie.
I have known Eddie for over fifty years from our football days in high school to college at the Mount. We shared some great times on our way to adulthood. As they say the memories are priceless.
I am truly grateful for his friendship.
