Edward M. Sabella

Professor Sabella is one of the professors I miss all the time though I had completed my study long time ago at Augsburg. Professor Sabella, RIP and thank you very much for your tenure, not only from the classrooms but also thru your very enriched knowledge about the world that polished me- "To Sir with Love"!

Eleven years after he died I Googled Ed to find out if he was still alive. I was one of hundreds he mentored, many of his macro philosophies stick with me. He also gave us Peter Morici of Fox News fame in 1978 for a completely different perspective on the world.
Fighting for his full professor tenure on the faculty personnel committee was one of the few accomplishments from that time I am proud of. He was that father you worked harder for to get his quiet approval.

RIP Ed Sabella. I am an Augsburg grad. Although I never had you for class, we always saw each other around.

I remember seeing you around in the bookstore where I worked, at the bus stops, or at the local stores like Target or Cub. You called me "Miss" and you always greeted me with a kind face and a wave if you saw me around Minneapolis.
