Edward Charles Saddig

Chris, I don't know if you remember us but we used to be next door neighbors when you and your brother were growing up. We were very sorry to hear of his passing.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Eddie. Him & I had some really great times working on the Block Island Ferry. There was never a dull moment when Ed was around us. He always made us laugh and wasn't afraid to try something new. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

When I see the photos of Eddie.... I also see four Saddig men who are no longer with us. George, Charlie, Walt and Bobby. These four men passed along to their children a passion for life. Eddie was part of the family we called "The Manor". Oakdale, CT was and always shall be Eddies home. He was an integral part of our extended families in Oakdale and always will be. We have lost one of our own, and we will always cherish the time we did have with our family member. We all deeply mourn his passing, but Eddie will always be alive in our hearts , prayers and cherished memories. We may not have got along the greatest over the years, but Eddie was ALWAYS a friend.
