Edward J. Saddler, 84 Beloved family man Edward James Saddler, 84, of West Brighton passed on Nov. 1, 2016, of Alzheimer's disease. Dad was born in Norfolk, Va., and moved to Staten Island in 1952 after falling in love with Mom, Lois Jane Tramell Saddler. Mom and Dad were married for 60 years....

Those are good and happy times spent together, for now Ed and Lois are having tea and coffee without us. In time, we will all be together again. Till then i will cherish the memories. I just read about this and I am so deeply saddened. I grew up with your whole family, my "cousins". Eddie was a wonderful, sweet, loving and caring man. Funny, warm and a family man, just like my dad was. He will be greatly missed and my prayers are with you Lois, Brian and Lori. Continue his legacy as the loving, sweet people you have always been. Miss you all so much
