Edward John Sandercock

My condolences to Edward's family. Reading his obituary sounded so familiar. He seemed truly a wonderful man.
I happened on his obituary while searching my own father's obituary, Walter Caleb Sandercock.
It struck me because my dad's father was from Cornwall. His name was Caleb who immigrated to the USA in the 1880's.

I met John on Facebook. My Friend Brenda told me to add him because he was a Farmville fan. We had fun waiting for John to let all his ponies out of his barn. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a kind soul. We will always remember you John. Bless all your Family and Friends, you will be missed. Many Blessings.

I was so heartbroken to hear about John passing, I will miss seeing him coming through the doors with his portable coffee tray ready to be filled at New Seasons... he always greeted me with the warmest of smiles and made the best of out all situations. I will always remember on one paticularly blustery and wet Portland day, he said to me "well I get a day off from watering my garden today."
Thank you John, I will miss our garden chats, traveling stories, the differences of our weather...
