Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about Ed.Great competitor and well known throughout the baseball community.

So sorry for the families loss. He inspired many Wilton Beaver baseball players!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. He will be missed but made such a positive impact with so many. Blessings

I knew Ed for many years as a fierce competitor on the baseball field. I played against him and with him as a teammate for many years. It didn't matter if it was "townball" played in the small towns of eastern Iowa or in a national Men's Senior tournament on the spring training diamonds of Phoenix, Ed was always a great teammate, encouraging everyone to keep playing hard to the last out. He will be missed.

I knew Ed for so many years through baseball. In my early days competing against him in baseball tournaments in the dubuque area and then later with him in the men’s senior league. Became good friends and shared many stories and fond memories over that time.
His presence on the baseball field was one to be admired and deservedly honored.
A good man!
My sympathies to the family.

So sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy to entire family.

Ed worked for me at Caterpillar Davenport Facility. He was a great supervisor and a fantastic human being. My deepest sympathies to his family during this difficult time. May Ed Rest In Peace!

We were sorry to hear about Ed’s passing. He was a great mentor to are youth. We were lucky to have him as part of our community.
