My Dear Son,

It's been almost 9 months since God took you away to his home in heaven. Not a day has gone by that I haven't yearned to hold you just one more time, or to tell you that I love you just one more time, or give you a back rub just one more time, or just sit and chat with you just one more time. I could fill page after page of the things I miss and the cherished memories I have of the 50 years we had as Mother and Son.

My condolences to the entire Schumm family. As children, at school, in cub scouts, everywhere really, Ed was always the good kid. And as an adult, he was a good man. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
