Read MoreI worked with Ed at Varian during the development of the whole body CT scanner. He worked with me in Japan at Mariana Univ. Hospital after I installed the first whole body CT in Japan. Ed was an extremely intelligent and insightful Physicist and engineer and a really good person. Great memories... God bless you Ed.

He was a wonderful next door neighbor and very welcoming to me. Their family took me to church every week in my late teen years. He often worked in collaboration with my father KarlL Brown a high energy physicist at Stanford Linear accelerator. My condolences to their children and posterity. He loved a good life.

I worked for Ed from 1987 to 1991. A great man who many people owe their lives to. He would never have ever thought about taking any credit for the great things he accomplished in the medical imaging field. Put his family, co-workers and humanity before himself at all times. A life incredibly well lived.
