Not sure what to say?

As his cousin, it was with much sadness that I learned of Ed’s terminal illness and that he as now passed away. Since we grew up in the same house for the first years of our lives and we are almost the same age, I feel a special pain. While over the years we lost contact, we were at one time soul-buddies and helped each other so much in those early times in our lives as we attempted to cope with all the chaos going on around us. My sincerest sympathy and condolences go to his sister, Maureen,...

My condolences go out to the Shanahan family on the passing of Edward. It was an honor to work with someone such as Edward. He was someone who nobody ever had a bad word to say about him.Despite his circumstances, he never complained about his situation. My hope is that if we ever have to experience what he went through, we will handle it with the dignity and class that Edward displayed. May God bless the Shanahan family in this time of sorrow.

We will remember him in our prayers.
We will enroll your beloved husband
and father in the Augustinian Guild.

In sympathy, Joseph and Mary Ann

Our deepest regrets on Ed's passing.

It won't be the same --when we don't see Ed whipping around your yard cutting the grass like a 400 meter dash man. He attacked the grass like it was an enemy.

We'll all miss a great neighbor!
