Not sure what to say?

Mark, Dave, Lisa and Paul...I´m so very sorry for the loss of your dad. I remember the sleepovers and how nice your parents were. I remember them going for their night walks holding hands. Now they´re together again going for their walks. Such a great loss for us but a big gain in heaven.

Dear Shatraw "kids." So sorry to read about your dad's passing. I used to live next door to your family on Sparkill Avenue. I babysat for you when you were young. Your dad and mom were always lovely to me and you kids were very well behaved. Your mom, and now your dad, are buried right across from my mom, Pearl McGarry. I was unaware of your father's accomplishments in his life. What a wonderful tribute to him. My thoughts are with you all. I live in South Carolina now but do come home to...

Dear Katie, Vince and Family, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. What a character Eddie was! He will truly be missed. Lori and Wayne Peplowski

Ed, please say Hello to Tom and Mary Cassey for me and tell them We'll be seeing them soon. May You and the rest of the gang RIP.

I saw the opening line of this obituary and I had to keep reading. I never knew your father, but I wish I had. One could only hope that their children would write such a funny, loving beautiful tribute to them, as you did to your father. This is obviously a humongous loss, so I'm sorry for your families loss.

I never had the privilege of knowing your father -- however after reading the tribute to your father -- it sounded as though he and your Mom did it all. It was the most thoughtful tribute I have ever read. He must be very proud. God Bless. Mary Lou Bartolotta-Connolly

What a sweet, funny tribute. Eddie's personality and your love for him shine through. Sincerest condolences to your family for your loss.
