I had the pleasure and honor to know Ed for over 25 years. He was my best friend and neighbor in Wilmington, NC. We experienced a lot of special times together. Sincerest condolences to Eddie´s family. I had the good fortune of being blessed to work with Eddie on squad 104 for about a year. He was a kind, gentle and knowledgeable man who loved his work, and he always willingly shared his knowledge with others. His knowledge was vast and his work ethic was strong. RIP, Eddie
