Not sure what to say?

Modesty is always in fashion...that's what immediately comes to mind when remembering Ed. I met Ed as a coworker in 1988. He turned into a lifelong friend for my wife and me. We spent a very memorable week vacationing at Lake Powell on a houseboat and I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know Ed. To Ed's extended family, my deepest condolences.

Dear Family of Edward:
We were saddened to learn of the sudden death of Edward. Members of our community, First Trinity Lutheran Church, remember him fondly. We pray that the family will be comforted by the promise of the ressurection. May God be with you during these difficult days. Pastor Tom Knoll, First Trinity Lutheran Church

Dear Edward,

It is hard to believe we lost you so quickly and did not even have a chance to say goodbye. At least, you and Cathy are together again. You will always be in our memories.

With love,

Your brother-in-law George Cheng and family Cindy, Harry, and Jenny.

Dear Edward,

We will always treasure your visits to China and your love for our sister Pei-Min. Our love and prayers are with your children.

With Love,

Your sisters-in-law Pei-Luo Cheng, Xiao-Qing Cheng, Pei-Li Cheng, and Family

Dear Edward,

Thanks for being a loving husband to my daughter Pei-Min. You had been a wonderful addition to our family. You will be dearly missed.

With love, Your mother-in-law Huang, Shou-Lin.

We will miss Ed. We enjoyed the outings with Ed, being a neighbor in the area and working with him in the CA Division. He was a kind person and always considerate of others. We pray that God will keep Ed in his memory and we shall keep his family in our prayers.

I enjoyed working with Ed in the California Division. He frequently had that one of a kind "Ed" grin. It was great to have him join us on our District 7 team in LA. He made me smile/laugh often.

While working with Ed in the CA Division of the FHWA, I looked up to Ed during my very early career with FHWA. Ed was always there to help out the young Engineers in the office. He was also one of the instigators of our HOT Mix softball team that participated in league play and our annual Caltrans/FHWA softball game. Ed will be greatly missed and his family are in our prayers.
