Not sure what to say?

Mr. Sheldon,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Fair Winds And Following Seas

No one on Margaret Street will ever forget Eddie's kindness and humor. I wish I had a neighbor like him! He will especially be remembered for all the kind things he did for my mother.

Dear Eleanor,
I was so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. I'll always remember his Halloween antics and the infamous Mongoose trick, and how good he was to my mother. He'll be missed.

My kids will forever know you as Shotgun Sheldon...thanks for the autographs, Chins, golden gingerale and the couple of dollars to get an ice cream on the way home. You are and always will be a great big part of my childhood memories.
Love Paul

Dear Eleanor:
Jean and I send our deepest condolences with the passing of Eddie. He was always there to help anyone in need. We fondly remember the neighborhood parties where you and Eddie would team up to scare the hell out of us with Eddie's mongoose. Thank you both for being great neighbors.

Eddie was a loyal friend and neighbor to the Adelmanns. We appreciated all his help. He was always there for us and everyone else on Margaret Street. His kindness was incredible. Thank you Eddie for all the wonderful memories.
Love,
Jackie and Patty Adelmann

Uncle Eddie,
You will forever be in my memories. You were a role model for us all with your committment to hard work and family, combined with a level of patience and generousity that was like no other.
You openned your home, refridgerator & wallet to us all on weekends with never a complaint.
You certainly lived up to the family saying as being " Good as Gold"
Love
Stephen Driscoll

Dear Uncle Eddie and Eleanor,
Franny ( Francie)and I were just last week discussing the good times we had as kids on Margaret St. The back yard cookouts, walking down to the creek and of course the family slideshows when we were little kids. And yes, the old mongoose! You were always so good to your neices and nephews and you loved us as if we were your own. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. We all love you very much. God bless.
Ellen

Uncle Eddie,
You have been a WONDERFUL UNCLE to many - I will always cherish the memories: the Sunday dinners, the sleepovers and trips to Chin's Restaurant. You were loved by many! I am pleased to have had you as an Uncle.

You will be missed byall! Love, Janet
