Dear Shivers Family,

It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of Lion Ed Shivers, a man of commitment and dedication to the mission of Lionism. As a member of the Cary Community Lions Club, of which Lion Ed served as a Guiding Lion, I came to know him as a man of character, leadership and vision. Anne: Janie and I are so sorry to learn of Ed's passing. He was a true friend and a great Lion. I have many fond memories of working with him in Lions activities -- especially the 2000 Lions State convention. He will be missed. Our thoughts and sympathy are with you and the family during this time of grief.
