We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Skarbek's passing. Three of my children were fortunate to have been part of his plays. I will best remember him around Memorial Day...I think he did a wonderful job of teaching his students the importance of this holiday. The Memorial Day observances at Esten School were well done, thanks to Mr. Skarbek. It is fitting somehow that he passed so close to Memorial Day.

I knew Mr. Scarbek through the fourth grade plays at Esten School in Rockland. I was never one of his students, but I enjoyed my time with him during the plays and rehersals. He was a nice man. I am very sorry for your loss.

Mr.Skarbek was a great man. He made a difference in my life and will never be forgotten. I am honored to have had him as a teacher. He will be so missed.
