Edward passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. Edward was a resident of Randolph, Massachusetts at the time of his passing. He graduated from Hyde Park High School and then later graduated from Northeastern University. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home 419 No. Main St. Rt. 28 Randolph until 9:00 AM on Thursday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church 211 No. Main St. Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00 â 8:00 PM. Burial will be private. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in Edâs name to the Pine Street Inn 444 Harrison Ave. Boston MA 02118 or to the Salvation Army 25 Shawmut Rd. Canton MA 02021.

Condolences to the entire Smith family. Eddie was a great guy and good friend that always helped others along the way. As teenagers, Eddie and his Mom helped many get jobs at the Boston hospitals that eventually led to careers. Remembering Ed as a fun guy who loved his family & friends. Rest in peace Ed.

Words can not express the loss of Ed to his family, friends and co workers. Ed was always there to listen, help and guide you through life's challenges. Husband, Father, Grand Father, Friend, Ed always had a smile and the ability to bring out the best in all of us. Rest in Peace my friend.
