Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Audit Bureau of Circulations, thank you for serving on its Board of Directors (1969-1978). Your contributions were invaluable and helped shape the publishing/advertising industry.

My fondest memories of Uncle Ed were family visits both at mom and dad's and at the Stern house in Evanston. I always enjoyed watching slides of their latest travel adventures. I looked forward to High Holidays at Temple Emanuel because it was a chance to see one of my favorite uncles. He was a special person and I'll miss him dearly.

Ed hired me in 1965 in media at FCB. In the years before his retirement he was my boss, my mentor and my good friend. He was
truely a wonderful guy .. and so very well respected in our business. My heartfelt sympathy to Ruth and all his family.

my dad was a special person. I was lucky to get to know him better when I abandoned my "rebellious youth" years. even in his 90's he could feed me answers to esoteric crossword puzzle clues about history. we'll miss him alot but are happy he had such a rewarding life.

Ed Stern was one of the good guys. At Foote, Cone & Belding he was never too busy (or too important) to help, or answer a question. He always did his homework, and was very knowledgeable about the advertising business. On top of that, he was a nice, nice man. My sympathy and prayers to Ruth.
