To the Stern family
Please accept my sincere condolences. I met Eddy in 1964 when he had a garage in Outremont running taxis and leasing cars on the side. I rented my first car from him. I remember his gentleness and compassion trying to help a young man wanting his first wheels. RIP Eddy.

Dear Stern family, I write this with deep sadness. Mr. Stern was an honorable man and a wonderful teacher; I learnt such valuable lessons from him. I had the utmost respect for Eddie and he will be greatly missed by all those who were lucky enough to have met him. I offer my deepest condolences to the entire Stern family. - Gordie Lazare
