Not sure what to say?

Ed sincerely cared about his family and their lives - no matter how far away we were. He kept up with us all, stayed in touch, and was always kind. A real role model in putting family first and I will miss that. I will often think of 'Uncle' Ed with a smile.

Mr. Stivers is my sister's father in law. I usually saw Mister Stivers around the holidays. Mr. Stivers was a nice guy and fun to be around. He was always pleasant and had a keen sense about him as he was a very knowledgeable man. I and everyone will truly miss Mister Stiver.

Dear Barb & Steve,

I'm sure you'll miss your father. Thinking of you
tomorrow
Sincerely,

Aunt Phyllis (Jim's wife)

Dear Barb & Steve,
So sorry for the loss of your wonderful father. You all are in our prayers.

I was blessed to have Uncle Ed and Aunt Bettie as my godparents. I had heard the blind date story more than once. They were so full of life and energy. I will never forget his booming voice. You always knew when he was in the house or on the phone.

Ed was always nice to everyone and made sure kids were taken care of at meals at conventions. Great cousin always looked forward to getting his emails. He will be missed.

He was always "Mr. Ed" to me as I grew up next door to the Stivers Family on Tavener Drive. He was a very good man, a great father and a wonderful neighbor. He and Bettie were inseparable and I'm sure there's a grand reunion happening now. Godspeed Mr. Ed and peace to your family and friends.

Ed Stivers was a friend and mentor for many years. He was a great supporter as we transitioned care of the KY Podiatric Medical Association to our firm. He will be missed.
